Lisa has had the privilege of speaking in several different arenas, ranging from teaching conferences and automotive dealership seminars to writing workshops and WWII events.

Education Industry: Lisa has presented for teaching conferences, home school conferences, rotary clubs, and library programs. Her children’s books lend to these presentations because she has written 5 award winning books, not only having strong messages but also being written very well. Lisa has spoken about the writing process, the publishing process, innovation in how to teach kids using project based learning, and helping teachers find new ways to engage those ADHD learners.

Automotive Industry: Lisa has worked over the last 40 years building her automotive warranty business, and is an expert in training dealerships in the warranty process. In 2019, Lisa completed her book “Buckle Up for business Success”- giving insight into how she built a multi-million dollar company. Her vast knowledge of not only the auto industry, but also in building several businesses, could benefit you and your employees.

WWII: Lisa’s father was part of that greatest generation we hear less and less of these days. After her dad passed away several years ago, Lisa found his footlocker, filled with hundreds of letters. She began opening and reading the letters one day, and found that they were letters that he had written her mother while he was away during WWII. As she dove into the letters, she was nervous about what she might learn about her parents. She found relief, the more she read the more she learned that her father was in fact a great man. She knew this about him, but these letters opened her eyes to what he learned while he was away at war and how that shaped him into the man she knew. This prompted her desire to write his story, and in 2018 was proud to publish “Football Flyboy”- which has won several awards. She has spoken to WWII groups and events, book clubs, and chapter meetings sharing her dad’s letters and what his experiences- not only about war but also about life in general. Hearing her tell his story will inspire you, and reassure us that there is hope in times of great sacrifice and terror.
