Happy Mother’s Day!
Not only today but every day we should take a step back a appreciate out Mothers. I know when I was growing up there were times where I didn’t understand my Mom and what she did, but now that I’m older I get it. She did everything for me out of love. So thank your Mom and give her some love.
I found a little booklet that I made my Mom for Mother’s Day when I was a kid. I thought I would share it with all of you.
Mothers are a precious stone
They shine within the night.
They rule you while sitting upon their eternal throne
But what they do is right.
Who rocked you and held you in their arms
When you were oh so tiny.
Who fed you and burped you and loved your charms
and watched you oh so kindly
and when you started growing
who clothed you, bathed you, and helped you
You hurt her but not in the knowing
Cause when she hit you it hurt her too.
When you grow older and wiser too,
When almost it’s too late,
You’ll realize what she meant to you,
But she’ll be at heavens gate.
