Ants On A Log

Ants On A Log

Arnold my cute little pig loved to eat food all the time! He ate everything from oats to trash and everything in between. Eventually he learned that fruits and veggies are good for you and cookies are a treat.

Today I decided to make a yummy treat that I know Arnold would love. In my kitchen I have Trace here to help me whip up a yummy healthy snack! We are going to make ants on a log.

What You Need:

  • Few Sticks of Celery
  • Cream Cheese (You can use any flavor of your choice)
  • Small Box of Raisins
  • Plastic Knife
  • Paper Towels

First, you need to wash and cut your celery in half. Then you can grab a scoop of cream cheese with your plastic knife to spread evenly in the middle of the celery. This will be your log.

We used strawberry cream cheese today, but you can also use any flavor of cream cheese. The original recipe calls for peanut butter, so you can use that if you are not allergic.

Next, it’s time to add your “ants” (raisins) to the top of your log. Feel free to place as many as you want. Finally, it’s time to eat! Yum, yum!
